Some of the space-based RTS games (Sins of a Solar Empire, Stellaris) don't necessarily tell you what the enemy is going to do, but you can make some reasonable guesses based on their trajectory. Which is kind of a happy medium between being in the dark and drawing out lines where an enemy unit will be, but again, both Sins and Stellaris not turn-based tactics games.
I'm not a huge fan of war games either...but there are a TON of them in the tactics space.
I would love to see the uncertainty of enemy moves that's in Broken Lines in a sci-fi/mech game like Phantom Brigade, I'm not a huge fan of war games.

I remember playing a ton of Stellaris at one point! RTS games definitely don't scratch that turn-based itch though, lol!
