I like the idea of a real-time/pause combat mechanic. It's one thing I loved about the early Baldur's Gate era games. Nice to see it used differently.

Me too, the flexibility to go as fast as you want or pause when you need to is really refreshing! You might also like Quasimorph, which has a similar mechanic, but with a rogue-like survival extraction mechanic!
